Poor Zinnia had a needle today and while she handled it like a champ, her emotions were somewhat hairy.
Instead of being impatient and frustrated with her seemingly irrational sadness, I gave hugs. Lots of them. Every time I felt frustrated or overwhelmed I grabbed her and hugged her. It made us both feel better each time. Win-win.
